On November 6 th , 2018, the Eagle Group of Minnesota Veterans was awarded $10,000 by U.S. Bank in
recognition as a non-profit focused on veterans in the Twin Cities community as part of the bank’s 10 year
celebration of their veteran focused Proud to Serve business resource group. The Eagle Group has
partnered with U.S. Bank on multiple occasions over the years, and the company – to include many
members of Proud to Serve at the bank – has been one of our biggest corporate sponsors. This gesture
on behalf of U.S. Bank further solidifies their commitment not just to the Eagle Group, but veterans in
general within the ranks of the bank and in the community at large. With this generous donation, U.S.
Bank is now officially one of the primary corporate sponsors of the Eagle Group of Minnesota Veterans,
and we are so very honored to have this relationship with the bank! The $10,000 will be used to further
the Battle Buddies Career Track program that the Eagle Group initiated in the spring of 2018; allowing
veterans who seek one-on-one coaching assistance for their particular needs and challenges to be
addressed on a weekly basis. More specifically, the donation will allow for the piloting of “Battle Buddies
– East” where the tremendous success that has occurred with Battle Buddies at its origin in the western
metropolitan area will be initiated in the eastern part of the Twin Cities.

On behalf of all the members of the Eagle Group of Minnesota Veterans, we are so proud to partner
with U.S. Bank as a primary corporate sponsor and we extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude to the
company!

Yours in Service,

Adam Naryka
President – Eagle Group of Minnesota Veterans
A Message from our Partners at Bunker Labs

I'm Marcus, I'm a Carlson School of Management alumni and former Marine. I lead Bunker Labs Minneapolis, which is a non-profit that supports veterans who want to become entrepreneurs. I was hoping you could forward this email on to members in the Veterans Association.   I wanted to let you know that Bunker Labs and WeWork are accepting applications for the next WeWork Veterans in Residence Powered by Bunker Labs cohort beginning March 1, 2019 in the following cities: Austin, Boston, Chicago, D.C., Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle

Applications are due January 3.

About the Program
Veterans in Residence offers United States military veterans and spouses fully-sponsored workspaces to help entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses. Each cohort member receives six months of coworking space at WeWork along with education, mentorship, networking, opportunities to share what they are creating, and connections to the local business and investment communities. Veterans in Residence is created by WeWork and powered by Bunker Labs.   You might be a good fit for Veterans in Residence if you are a military veteran or spouse and you are at the idea stage or in the early stages of developing your product or service, or if you’re a consultant or independent contractor looking to significantly grow your business in 2019.

You can check out past participant stories here:
Mike Steadman, IRONBOUND Boxing
Nancy Preston, Milk Money Kitchens
Randy Sarmiento, Eagle 1 CPR
Graciela Tiscareño-Sato, Gracefully Global
The Application Process   The application takes just a few minutes to fill out and can be accessed here. If you have any questions about the Veterans in Residence program, send them my way!
